The Skin School Advanced Practitioner Pathway
Level 3 & Level 4 Skin Qualifications

The Skin School Advanced Practitioner Pathway is a professional training programme designed to take students from entry level through to becoming a Level 4 qualified skin practitioner.
This structured programme combines Ofqual-regulated qualifications with advanced skin treatment training, giving students the knowledge, practical skills and confidence required to begin working professionally within the skin industry.

Level 3 Entry to Aesthetics in Skincare
(Ofqual Regulated – Focus Awards)
Level 3 Units
• Skin Analysis
• Client Consultation
• Health & Safety
• Provide Skincare Treatments
Level 4 Certificate in Skin Needling Treatments
(Ofqual Regulated – Focus Awards)
Level 4 Units
• Health & Safety in Aesthetic Treatments
• Principles of Skin Needling Treatments
• Consultation & Client Care
• Providing Skin Needling Treatments
Additional Skin Treatments Included
Students will also complete training in professional skin treatments including:
• Chemical Peels
• Dermaplaning
• Hydrafacial with Oxygen Infusion
• Microdermabrasion
• LED Light Therapy
This allows graduates to offer a complete professional skin treatment menu once qualified.
Additional Training
Gut Health & Skin Education
Students will also learn about the relationship between gut health and inflammatory skin conditions, helping practitioners take a more holistic and science-led approach to skin.
Practitioner Kit Included
Students receive The Skin School Signature Practitioner Kit, containing essential tools and products required to begin performing treatments once qualified.
Programme Structure
• 4 practical training days to begin the programme
• Students complete Level 3 coursework within 6 months
• Once Level 3 is achieved, students return to complete Level 4 practical training and assessment
Ongoing Support
Students receive continued support throughout their training including:
• Direct support with Head Trainer Natalie Gage
• Guidance on starting and growing a skin business
• Advice on treatment pricing and attracting clients
