The Skin Mastery Programme is The Skin School’s beginner training pathway for those who want to build a professional career working with skin.
Combining an Ofqual-regulated Level 3 qualification with hands-on training in Microneedling, Chemical Peels and Dermaplaning, Skin Mastery gives you much more than a collection of short treatment courses.
You’ll learn how to understand the skin, carry out professional consultations and skin analysis, plan treatments safely and confidently, and develop the practical skills needed to begin working with clients.

Your Level 3 provides the professional foundation for your career in skin and a recognised route for progressing into higher-level skin qualifications.

You’ll develop your practical treatment skills while learning how to select appropriate treatments, carry out professional consultations and plan treatments around the individual client and their skin.
3 Practical Training Days
Your journey begins with 3 hands-on training days at The Skin School in Manchester.
We keep our training groups small so you receive plenty of practical experience and individual support throughout your time at the academy.
You’ll learn practically from the beginning, working through skin analysis, consultation, treatment planning and professional treatment techniques before continuing with your theory and assessments.
More Than Learning a Treatment
At The Skin School, we don’t want students to simply learn a treatment protocol.
We want you to understand the skin you’re treating.
You’ll develop the knowledge to recognise different skin types and concerns, understand when a treatment is appropriate, identify contraindications and create appropriate treatment plans for your clients.
It’s this foundation that allows you to continue developing as a skin practitioner rather than simply collecting treatment certificates.
Support Throughout Your Qualification
You won’t complete your three practical days and then be left to figure everything out alone.
You’ll have up to 6 months to complete your Level 3 qualification, with continued tutor support throughout your coursework and assessments.
You’ll also receive guidance around:
• Treatment pricing
• Building your client base
• Introducing your new treatments
• Professional treatment photography and content
• Developing your skin business
